Accept a clinic invitation
Join a clinic with the exact email address that received the invitation.
For: Invited staff
Before you start
- A DiaryCare clinic invitation that is less than 48 hours old.
Join the clinic
- Open Accept clinic invitation in the invitation email within 48 hours.
- Check the clinic name, access level, and invited email address.
- Choose Create my DiaryCare login if you are new to DiaryCare, or I already have a login if you have an account.
- Create or sign in to the account that uses the exact invited email address. If you create an account, confirm its email before signing in.
- Return to the invitation and select Accept clinic invitation.
Good to know: DiaryCare keeps the invitation with you while you create an account, verify the email, reset a forgotten password, or sign in. It will not accept the invitation while you are signed in with a different email address. Providers are offered optional Google Calendar setup after acceptance; Office Admin accounts go directly to the dashboard and cannot connect a calendar.
If the invitation does not work
- Ask the clinic owner or administrator for a new invitation if the link has expired or was cancelled.
- Sign out and use the exact invited email if DiaryCare says the signed-in account does not match.
- Use Forgot password from sign in if the invited email already has a DiaryCare account but you cannot remember its password.
