Getting started

Manage your account and sign-in security

Update your personal details, change your password, and add two-step sign-in protection.

For: All staff

Sign in from a browser

  1. Open https://diarycare.co.uk/sign-in. If your browser adds www, DiaryCare moves you to the canonical secure address before sign-in.
  2. Enter your personal sign-in email and password, then select Sign in.
  3. If you enabled two-step verification, enter the code from your chosen method.
Good to know: An older bookmark that contains www is safe to use because DiaryCare corrects the address before your credentials are submitted.

Open your account settings

  1. Sign in to DiaryCare.
  2. Open Account from the dashboard menu.
  3. Choose the section you want to update.

What you can change

  • Your display name, which colleagues see in DiaryCare.
  • Your sign-in email. DiaryCare confirms the change using both the old and new addresses.
  • Your password. It must contain at least 10 characters.
  • An authenticator app, with one-use recovery codes.
  • SMS verification to a verified UK mobile number.
Good to know: Two-step verification is optional for clinic owners and staff, so it does not interrupt initial clinic setup. It remains recommended and can be enabled later from Account. Platform administrators must use it. Changing your password signs you out on every other device. Store recovery codes somewhere safe and separate from your password.
